Since the Contact Center SDK is built on our Video SDK, your Contact Center SDK will need to be updated at least every nine months.
In-app video engagements now show prompts to notify consumers that their call is being recorded. Consumers also see a red dot to indicate when recording is in progress.
Consumers using the in-app video engagements can now enable or disable mirror video to the consumers using in-app video.
In-app chat engagements now support the typing indicator so the consumer knows when the agent or a chatbot they are interacting with is actively typing a message.
Previously, the default “video on” setting on the Contact CenterSDK for Android did not work after the first engagement. We’ve implemented a fix to retain the setting every time a new engagement is initiated.
